adidas’ classic Superstar will be going under a few changes geared for skateboarding. The Superstar Vulc is a modified to feature a vulcanized outersole along with Aaron Horkey providing artwork. Horkey is most knonw for his highly detailed illustrations and hand lettering. A few graphics appear on the heel and on the insole. Furthermore, the navy and grey color scheme is complimented by neon accents reported to glow-in-the-dark. Release is slated for next month at adidas Skateboarding accounts. Via Complex.

However, instead of blue and white, a combination of different brown tones and a subtle flannel print attribute to a great seasonal look. Our friends at Sole Addiction have provided more exclusive Marcus Jordan PE photo access. The Air Jordan 9.5 and Jordan Maroon X are themed after Loyola Academy which he transferred from in the fall 2007, to attend Whitney Young High School. The 9.5 has its own signature stitching of Marcus’ initials M and J.

The Maroon Marcus Jordan X consists of a Maroon and Canary colorway, also used in his time of being at Loyola. The Black and Canary Yellow XX2 and the 9.5 are recent PEs. He has used during a couple of practice games at Whitney Young High School.

Unfortunately, Zach Randolph of the New York Knicks did not receive his own colorway in the newly famed Nike Power Max model, but don’t feel to sorry for him, as this pair of Nike Bizness PE’s will suit him just fine. Patent leather can be a shoe’s best friend, as this pair makes a case for that statement, being embellished with perforated blue patent leather. The side panels sport a black color scheme wit the NYC skyline across it, as well as an orange tone to match. They have been dubbed the Away colorway, as they feature mostly blue, orange and black which goes well with the New York Knicks road jerseys. They are scheduled to release today at Footlocker’s House of Hoops in Harlem, New York and retail for $130.

A few weeks ago, we previewed some Nike Power Max PE’s created specially for Pau Gasol that hit the House of Hoops in LA, and today, this pair of Away PE’s is slated to release at NYC’s House of Hoops. They feature a similar colorway that includes a predominantly black design along with lots of purple at the base of the upper as well as gold accents on the swoosh and tongue. The top of the tongue also says Pau Gasol, indicating the player they were specially created for. The purple portion at the base of the upper includes details associated with Pau and LA including his name, the LA Lakers’ name, and palm trees. They are set to release today at Footlocker’s House of Hoops in Harlem New York where they will retail for $130.

As part of the House of Hoops One year anniversary releases, Nike is scheduled to release this player exclusive for Portland big man Greg Oden. The shoe goes well with the team’s away jersey, sporting a predominantly black upper along with red and white accents. The base of the upper features detailed designs that are associated with the team and Oden, along with a full length Nike air max sole, and Oden written on the tongue. The outsole sports a modified herringbone pattern  for great traction . You can find them at The HOuse of  Hoops in NYC  as they are premiering today, and will retail for $130.

As of late, we have seen the Nike Power Mx in action, as we have already previewed Derek Fisher, Pau Gasol, and Drew Gooden PE’s from the House of Hoops in L.A. As some of you may know, this week marks the one year anniversary for NYC’s House of Hoops, and to celebrate they are releasing hot kicks all week. Here we feature an Away color in the Power Max created specially for New Orleans Hornets’ forward David West. The shoe sports a predominantly black colorway along with purple and green accents to match their jersey. They are scheduled to release today at Footlocker’s House of Hoops in Harlem, New York, and retail for $130.

Vans has recently gotten together with the San Francisco basked skate/graffiti/tattoo conglomerate REBEL8 to create a 5-pack of shoes which are now available online at the Vans site.  Mike Giant is the head artist, and his models of choice included some classics such as the No Skool 2 Mid, J-Lay, Chukka Low, Sk8-Hi Pro, and Slip-On Pro. The Nike Air Max Plus has always been a big hit with fanatics, and for those of you who care to know, sneaker shop RMK just got in a restock of the Nike Air Max Plus in this white / navy / silver color scheme. The shoe is most noted for the wavy lines which run across the upper, as well as the full length air sole unit.

Available now at the Sweden based online shop Caliroots is this pair of Supra NS Skytops. They feature an all black patent leather construction which is bound to turn heads no matter where they go. From what we can tell, they sport a predominantly black colorway with red and grey accents. Nike’s latest collaboration was not with any known artist, designer, or brand, but instead with two die hard shoe collectors. Both were presented with their own custom Air Force One, of which they have the only pair of. Kevin Hunter’s features a predominantly red colorway with white inner lining, and was inspired by his Bentley. Mayor’s edition of the Air Force One is most noted for the 1000 that is stitched onto the heel tab, as this marks his 1000th pair of shoes in his collection. Opening up about life as the mother of baby twins, Angelina Jolie recently revealed the one thing that’s really taken some getting used to - breastfeeding her two kiddies at once.

“You think, ‘Ah, if anybody can do that, I can do that,’” Jolie said on the TV show GMTV. “But it’s a lot harder than it looks in the books. I did that a few times, but [mostly] I would take turns. It just takes a long time.”
